Today has been quite the productive day. I got up, had breakfast, washed my hair and got dressed. I have already been out of the house with my son today and I think I’ll tackle a handful of projects this afternoon. Fingers crossed!
As the sun comes out and begins to warm the Earth for Spring, I like to sit outside and breath in some fresh air. This is my favorite time to meditate, it is almost enchanting.
If you know me well, you know that I love to make plans and list. Sometimes, this can be overwhelming because I tend to over do it. It always starts out with me just excited to try something new, then… when I over plan I get overwhelmed, tired, stressed and eventually am unmotivated to do anything. One of my favorite things to do while meditating is to focus on grounding myself. I try to focus on where I am at right this second by noticing something I feel, smell, hear, see, and even taste.
Grounding myself helps to remove the stress of trying to live in the future, and helps me to organize and decided on the things I can do right now.

Afterwards, I usually am left feeling pretty balanced and motivated once again!
